The groom 'Sean', in a black double-breasted suit and red tie, and his bride in a white wedding gown with veil, floral crown, pearl necklace and bouquet. Lynn Harrison and Shirley Lloyd made the couple; both the sculpts and the molds are by Rose Pinkul Originals.

Rose Pinkul's mold list includes a 28-inch man named 'Shaun', which appears to be the same sculpt. The bride's name is being confirmed.

Background

Rose Pinkul is an American doll sculptor and porcelain-doll costume designer who issued her sculpts and molds as 'Rose Pinkul Originals' in the 1990s. Each mold carries a number and a part code, HE for head, A for arms and L for legs, and the line was planned as a family: 27-inch ladies, 28-inch men and an 18-inch child, 'Charlotte', sized to go with them.

Adult male dolls are comparatively rare in the porcelain doll world. A male sculpt needs a broad chest and masculine hands, and the costume, a suit or a stage outfit, has to be tailored in miniature, so a couple or a wedding set takes twice the care.
